Salted Caramel Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cheesecake Shake (S)

March 2, 2015 by Cate H

This post might include affiliate links for products that I know and LOVE!

This shake started as a Fat Stripping Frappa. Then I found that I didn’t have ice on hand, pregnancy cravings hit and cheesecake sounded like heaven. This shake is an S due to the indulgent fats that are in this shake. I ate this as a meal and couldn’t finish it! It sounds like a mouthful, but when you’re in the mood for a truly decadent treat, this will hit the spot!

RECIPE

1 C. Frozen Strawberries (I used sliced)
2 T. Cream Cheese
1 T. Sugar-Free Chocolate Chips
1/2 C. Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 C. Water
2 T. Truvia
1 tsp. Caramel flavoring
Tiny pinch of salt
1/4 C. Protein Powder ( I use the protein powder found here because it’s cost effective and has no aftertaste!)

Blend all ingredients together, top with a capful sized serving of Fat-Free Redi-Whip and enjoy!

What kind of caramel flavoring did you use?

Could you sub collagen instead of protein powder?

Yupp! I think it might change the consistency a bit, but it would be a fine sub!

I made this today .Oh my goodness it was delicious. I added my collagen as well. I usually drink it in coffee. But thought I would give it a try in this and it turned out good!

I’m glad you liked it! <3 Collagen would be a rock star in this recipe, definitely adding it next time!
