6 Jobs For Busy Stay at Home Moms

When you’re a Mama, you have to consider your work at home job a little more. The ideal jobs for busy Mama’s are those that are flexible and require little to no phone work. While it might take a little more searching, it is possible to find a good job that allows you to be flexible with your littles and still create a sustainable income. The work at home job field is huge and there are new jobs being created daily. To give you a few ideas, here’s my favorite work at home jobs for Mamas.

Virtual Assisting

Virtual assisting is a great way for busy Moms to keep their toes in the world of business professionals. Depending on what type of job you take on, you do have a lot of flexibility in your hours and workload. You can easily start your own virtual assistance business by accepting jobs on Odesk to build your work profile. Virtual assisting is a great way to network yourself as a lot of customers will become long-term clients.

Freelancing

Freelancing is similar to virtual assisting in the flexibility aspect. The type of work is a little different but has a wide range. You can freelance anything from article-writing to graphic design creation. Freelancing is a great way to market whatever your natural skill set is. I absolutely love being able to do what I want to do, whether that be writing articles or editing them. Freelance customers are also likely to become long-term clients if you give them a job well done. Use sites like Odesk/Elance to find jobs that interest you and build your profile!

Home Business

What talents do you possess? Are you a great baker? Maybe, you are extremely talented in the area of childcare or sewing. Whatever your talent may be, creating a home business is a great way to earn extra income. The best thing about owning your business is that you decide what hours you work, how much you work and exactly what you do. You can run your business with in person transactions, or if your business is more crafty, you can open up and Etsy shop to expand your borders.

Photography

If you’re extra skilled behind the lens, you can make a pretty penny taking photographs. There are a couple different ways to do this. You can take stock photographs and sell them to various sites, or you can do photo sessions for clients. Either way, this is one of the higher paying work from home opportunities.

Blogging

Blogging isn’t an overnight get rich quick scheme, but it is something that can pay off if you put a lot of prayer and hard work into it! Choose a niche that you are not only knowledgeable in, but passionate about. Write continuously, even if no one reads your writing! Give your blog the absolute best work possible and eventually readers will come. Blogging is one of those fields that you can never know too much about, so constantly be learning something new!

Web Search Evaluation

Web search eval is a field that takes a little more concentration, so you might want to do this job after the kids are in bed! The great thing about web search evaluation companies is that many of them let you work when you want, as long as you hit a certain amount of hours. This job field pays about $13-$15 an hour, so it’s definitely worth looking into!
