Overnight oats are one of the best secret weaponsΒ ever. They can be made ahead, they’re easy to make, delicious and there are SO many different combinations! This recipe is one of my favorite ways to make overnight oats. Think blueberry french toast dripping in maple syrup and butter. Somehow, this oatmeal manages to imitate those flavors perfectly!
I like to top my oats with a bit of cottage cheese and a tiny smear of extra jam. It just makes it look a little prettier. π These oats taste perfectly fine cold, but you can heat them in the microwave for a minute to have a hot breakfast. This recipe is single serve, but a generous helping!

This recipe sounds yummy.. However I have a hard time eating oatmeal cold.. Have you tried this heated??
Cate H
Hey, Lois! I haven’t tried it heated, but I’m sure it would taste amazing!
Cheryl
Do you really use 3 tablespoons of super sweet? Or should that be teaspoons? Thank you π
Cate H
Teaspoons! π Thank you. I’ve updated it!
Candice
Can you use steel cut oats?
Cate H
Yes, Ma’am!
Denise
I made this today and swapped out with Apricot instead of the blueberry. It seemed a bit sweet even with 3 teaspoons Oden Superset, should I swap out with Gentle Sweet?
Cate H
I personally like things a bit sweeter, so the super sweet is right up my ally! π I’d use one teaspoon next time and then taste test a little to see if you need to add more. <3

Can’t wait to try this! I have everything needed except the all fruit blueberry jam but I have some strawberry I can switch it out with! I’m always looking for some easy breakfast options for my early work mornings.
Cate H
Yes, strawberry tastes wonderful too! I hope you like it! <3
Mary
I loved it! It’s my go to breakfast for those early work mornings!
Christine
Is that 3/4 C cooked oatmeal or raw?
Cate H
Raw!

A note for anyone in my boat– I had no jam. Instead I swirled in about 1/4 cup of frozen wild blueberries (they are smaller than the regular ones). As they thaw overnight they release all that juice adding the flavor and natural sweetness. (I had pulled back the sweetener to 1tsp the night before then added this morning to get to preferred taste). To get rid of the “dry oat aftertaste” I warmed it slightly in the microwave. I’ll be making again!
