* I received this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
I’ve loved Brooke McGlothlin’s writing for a while now. She is one of the co-founders of the Mothers of Boys Society (MOBS). She has a lot of wisdom to share about raising little men and I’ve always appreciated her grace-filled approach to mothering. Her book, “Gospel-Centered Mom” is about embracing grace and the power that God gives Moms!
Holding nothing back, Brooke shares how she came to a place of embracing God’s sufficiency instead of perfection. I appreciated her laid-back writing style because it made this book an easy read. It can be all too simple to take responsibility for everything in our parenting, instead of seeking to include God and not only include, but make Him the center. When we pursue Jesus, everything else falls into place.
I took away from this book a desire to fight for my child and a renewed sense of purpose. I highly recommend this book to any parent who feels less than!
