I’ve been following Carolyn Ketchum’s low-carb food blog “All Day I Dream About Food” for a couple of years now. I’ve always loved how she can revamp non-healthy recipes into keto friendly dishes that you’d be proud to eat. Her baked goods stand out to me, but she also makes stellar main courses, salads, beverages and more.
Carolyn recently wrote a cookbook called “The Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen” which features over 150 low-carb recipes to help you get healthy. This cookbook is unique because Carolyn shares her best secrets for keto success, a list of keto-friendly ingredients and a peek inside her pantry (my favorite!). There’s also a list of her favorite kitchen items, some tips to help your low-carb baking be a success and even a sample meal plan.
Carolyn’s recipes are things that you’d actually eat in real life. Lemonade, candies, waffles, soups and more make this cookbook worth every penny, A few recipes that stood out to me was her recipe for Magic Mozzarella Dough, which is similar to Fat Head Dough, Nacho Chips, and the Green Tea Frappe. The Green Tea Frappe is AMAZING, by the way! 🙂
Carolyn’s style of writing is friendly and her recipes are easy to understand. Most require little special ingredients and she gives tips and serving suggestions to go with each recipe. I loved the serving suggestions because they made choosing a side dish to balance the meal easy! The photography in this book is just beautiful, so it’s fun to look through.
Trim Healthy Mama ladies (and men?) the recipes in this cookbook fall under “S” category. I’ve had so much fun including Carolyn’s recipes in my THM diet! I highly recommend this cookbook because it’s always a good idea to have as many healthy recipes as possible at your fingertips!
Carolyn has been so gracious to allow me to give one of YOU a copy of The Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen. I just know that this cookbook will be a tool you’ll reference time and time again. Enter below and good luck!
