I’ve been getting a lot of personal questions lately, so I wanted to do something a little different today and share a little about myself.
First of all, I’m Cate. I’m 22, a wifey of 3 years and a Mama to two little men under the age of two. Two is apparently my number. 😉
I’ve been saved by Grace since the age of about three and some of my earliest memories are of Sunday School and the feeling of joy that bubbled up in my chest as I sang choruses like:
“Serve Him, Serve Him! Serve Him in the morning, serve Him in the noontime..”
My life hasn’t always reflected Christ, especially in those rebellious teenage years. I met my husband and we grew up and out of a life of sin together. These days, I do my best to live a life worthy of the calling I’ve received. I fail, I struggle, and sometimes I want to give in to old habits, but at the end of the day, living life for Christ is much better.
I’m the ever so rare INFJ personality type and a typical oldest child. I’m a perfectionist and as a kid, I loved organizing so much that I would take everything out of the kitchen cupboards and re-organize it. I like lists and routine and the lines that my vacuum makes on my carpet.
I love words, reading and writing them. I also love acoustic and pop-punk music, iced coffee, Netflix and thrift shopping. A lot of people think my blog’s name came from my pursuit of healthier living or making myself be smaller/less. Not true! The Fabuless Wife sums up my lifestyle, which is something along the lines of “Coach taste on a Walmart budget“.
I work from home and l-o-v-e it! I have a passion for helping women learn how to create a successful career while being able to be a constant presence for their families. I also have a passion for helping other people live their best life possible, even on a tight budget.
Enough about me, I’d love to hear your stories! 🙂
